We love having baptisms at Beacon Church, whether it is for a baby, a child or an adult. Baptism is a sign of God’s love and grace in our lives. Through baptism we become part of God’s family, the Church. Baptism also marks a turning point in our lives, where we say that we want to turn away from the mistakes of the past and put our faith in Jesus. The water in baptism symbolises having our guilt and shame washed away and being reborn into God’s family where we can find forgiveness and freedom to live the lives that God created us to live!
So that you know how things work at Beacon Church when it comes to christenings and baptisms, we have put together a Baptism Policy for you. You can read it here

Funerals
Find out more
Funerals give us an opportunity to not only say goodbye to a loved one but also to give thanks for their life. It is important that we do this so that we are able to grieve properly. God promises that he will comfort everyone who goes through a time of mourning if we seek him and allow him to come close to us in our times of sadness. If we at Beacon Church can help you find this comfort at this time, whether through holding a funeral service for your loved one or even just spending time with you and allowing you to talk, please do get in touch with us.
